Hybrid Cylinders, is a subsidiary of the Karm Research Group in the United Kingdom, specifically set up to bring to market, a new patented gravure printing cylinder technology that harnesses many of the competitive advantages of flexographic printing, engineered specifically for the gravure industry.
Located in the prestigious Liverpool Science Park, in conjunction with the city`s two universities, the Karm Research Group ’Hybrid Cylinders’ team comprises third generation gravure industry expertise and leading polymer specialists and engineers with the common goal of delivering a hybrid cylinder technology for the gravure printing market.
Hybrid Cylinders are currently in the process of setting up its technology to be able to manufacture cylinders up to 1400mm in face length which is due in Q2 of 2018.
