Hybrid Cylinders recently gave a presentation at the Gravure Association of the Americas Gravure Global Summit in Lake Buena Vista Florida to update the GAA and its attendees on the progress of our innovative cylinder technology and how its adoption can dramatically reduce time to press.
The keynote speech ‘Gravure at the Crossroads’ by Professor Robert Eller of Rochester Institute of Technology was an informative and engaging speech in which Professor Eller highlighted that the gravure industry has a collective need to embrace new technology, processes and innovation to survive, which was then followed by Hybrid Cylinders presentation during the last session of the morning as part of the Innovation Inkubator focus.
The Gravure Association of the Americas, Inc. is a trade association formed as the result of the merger between the Packaging and Label Gravure Association Global (PLGA Global) and the Gravure Asociation of America (GAA). The two organizations consolidated their resources with the intent to create a more effective and responsive association to provide a forum to facilitate collaborative partnerships among all Gravure professionals and to create value and opportunities through interactive communication, training, education and promotion of the Gravure printing process.
